This week at school we had Festival Of The Art, the Festival Of The Art is about people performing and showing their talents. My favorite show was the Drum Jam, in Drum Jam there was a group of people came in and let us borrow the interment and play it. There were lots of interments and some the Drum Jam made them by themselves. Another event was the Student Showcase; some students volunteer to show all their talents in sing, playing interments, etc. One event was about a filmmaker coming in to our school and showed us how making film is done, he showed us a few trailers that he was apart of making. Also their was a mine show, I didn’t quite enjoy it because they couldn’t talk so I didn’t understand and I was not used to people performing without talking. Also there was a cooking show, to people made a cake witch looked like a robot from Transformers. This afternoon there is a cook off against two teachers I am looking forward.

At school we were focusing on doing our historical fiction (a fake story but setting is true), also we are thinking of a central Idea and we were thinking some guiding questions for our personal inquiry. We had a objective sheet for both guiding question and central idea it says what our guiding question and central idea has to be.

On 10^th of April the whole grade 5 went to the Museum of Coastal Defense like you see below. The Museum of Coastal Defense was so fun there were lots of stuff to see and learn.

Our math past 2 weeks was really fun and hard; we had to learn lots of new problem solving strategies like make a list, modeling, logic and much more.  One of the problems solving strategies activity was called Peter’s Pipe; we had to find what would the different pipes that peter can make with five 3 m pipes and two 4 m pipes. Every morning at school we had to do metal math, first we had to get a board, the teacher will ask the question, and you write the answer on the board and show on the board.

Today it was my first trip to Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defense, it was really fun. There was lots of information and I learned some new stuff, they were lost of exhibits and one of my favorite exhibits is When The Japanese invaded Hong Kong and the Torpedo station. In the museum there was a show about Hong Kong coastal defense I learned a lot from it.  I learned that Also the museum is built in a fort know as Lei Yue Mun Fort located at Shak Kai Wan, I think it’s a good idea because you can observe the structure as well.

I have learned that you can’t put your real name or picture on Edublogs because it’s not safe.  Also it’s not safe to meet someone online and meet them outside. Also I learned not to say inappropriate stuff to other people’s blog because it’s not nice and they get angry at you.
